What if there is no C-Wire?

If you do not have a C-wire, you can try the following steps, but it is important to confirm with your HVAC manufacturer or an electric engineer first.

Furnace Part: Connect the G wire to the C terminal, use the black jumper wire to connect G and Y or W (if you need heat, connect to W, otherwise connect to Y).

Thermostat Part: Connect the G wire to the C terminal on the wall plate. The G terminal on the wall plate is blank.
